SHORTLISTED FOR PENFRO SHORT RADIO DRAMA COMPETITION

Yes!  I’m positively beaming to announce that my play UNLIMITED SERVICE has been shortlisted for the PENfro Book Festival Short Radio Drama Competition.  The eight shortlisted entries are revealed here

The competition has been judged by the great Kate McAll, a Sony Gold award-winning radio producer, director, and writer with over 30 years’ experience of making programmes for the BBC (including BBC Radio 4 and the Woman’s Hour drama strand).

From the shortlist, four winners will ultimately emerge, with each winning piece then performed live on stage by professional actors and recorded on location in the glorious setting of Rhosygilwen in Pembrokeshire. The overall contest winner will be chosen by the PENfro Book Festival audience on Sunday October 13th, and the winners’ recordings will be posted on the festival website shortly thereafter.

I have been an avid listener of radio drama for as long as I can remember, and so it’s a huge thrill to reach the finals of this very special contest.
