TRUE TO YOU powers back into New York on Tuesday October 22nd as part of the 6th annual Schreiber Shorts, presented by the legendary T. Schreiber Studio for Theater & Film (Robert Moss Theater, 440 Lafayette Street, 22 - 26 October 2019). Each year, the Schreiber Shorts production showcases a collection of new 10-minute plays submitted by up-and-coming playwrights, with last year’s production receiving a whopping 600+ writer submissions from around the world. The theme for 2019 is TRANSPARENCY, which chimes wonderfully with the ideas explored in TRUE TO YOU. You can read synopses of the other six intriguing-sounding plays being performed here.
I’m exceptionally pleased to announce that directing TRUE TO YOU for Schreiber Shorts 2019 is award-winning vocal, dialects and Shakespeare instructor Page Clements. Page has cast two fabulous actors in the lead roles - Margaret Lepera and Steven Curtis Jones - and I just know that the production will be absolutely first-class, and one to remember. Lucky me!

Page Clements is a vocal/dialects/Shakespeare instructor, both privately and at the T. Schreiber Studio. She was a Vocal and Dialect coach Reader's choice selection in BACKSTAGE Magazine. Creatively, she has worked with The Roundabout Theatre Co., The New York Shakespeare Exchange, Metropolitan Playhouse, Phoenix Theatre Ensemble, among others. She has also directed several solo shows appearing in festivals across the country.
MARGARET LEPERA (PLAYING JANE)

Margaret Lepera (Jane) is delighted to be working with the talented cast of Schreiber Shorts. Theatre credits include The Time of Your Life (Kitty), Precious Sons (Bea), Italian American Reconciliation (May), Torch Song Trilogy (Lady Blues), My Fair Lady (Eliza), Anything Goes (Reno). Recent film credits include Paper Animals and Pool Party, an official selection for the Oniros Film Awards. Margaret has received two Best Drama awards for her teleplay In Treatment: Mia from Screenwriting Expo and Cloud Creek Institute of the Arts. She is also the author of the children’s book The Soulful Adventure of Spencer, the Soft-hearted Seal.
STEVEN CURTIS JONES (playing RICHARD)
A STUDY IN SUCCESS: Actor STEVE CURTIS JONES
Steve is a New York based actor. He has studied at the Studio with Terry Schreiber and Page Clements, and thinks the world of them both. Last year, Steve appeared in Alpha66, also at the Studio. Steve's BDO commercial has been running on CNN, MSNBC and all the other news channels for two years.
