"True To You" was voted the winner of the Pint-Sized Plays Script Slam on Saturday 30th September 2017. The Script Slam, held at Theatr Gwaun in Fishguard, saw performances of all ten winning and runner-up plays, with the audience's favourite taking the title of "Best Script" and the coveted Pint-Pot.
Now in its 10th successive year, the Script Slam is the finale of the Pint-Sized Plays international writing competition. This year's event was a fantastic evening of entertainment, and the wonderful cast and crew of "True To You" also took well-deserved honours in the Performance awards, judged by Peter Richards, Artistic Director of the Fluellen Theatre Company.
Many congratulations and thanks beyond measure to the organisers and to Sarah Bishop, Roger Leese and Sarah Sherriff (who also directed) for a fabulous interpretation. If it's wrong to laugh at your own play, I don't want to be right!
